Serves youth
who have issues of depression, substance abuse, and low self-esteem. A
one-to-one worker supports each youth by building trust, helping them
deal with challenges, and assisting them to reconnect with community support.

The Changeways
Program (604-822-7153) is a psychoeducational group program for clients
recently discharged from inpatient care for depression and anxiety disorders.
There are also other mental health services available at the hospital.

Depression Group
Offers a
professionally-led Support group to people living with depression. The
Hospital also offers "Changeways", a closed group that uses
cognitive behavioural therapy to help people cope with their depression.

a mood disorder... Unipolar (Depression), Bipolar (Manic Depression) or
Panic /Anxiety Disorder are invited to contact the MDA. We offer support
and friendship for those with the illness and their support people. Join
one of our support groups, call for information.
