Clearinghouses Around the World
Self-help clearing houses can provide you with information
on local support groups, including groups not affiliated with
any national self-help organization. In addition, many of
the clearinghouses listed below provide consultation to help
individuals develop needed new groups. Some provide training
workshops, distribute "how to" materials, and publish
directories and newsletters. This lists US and International
self help associations including Canadian ones by province.
The
Self-Help Sourcebook Online
is a searchable database that includes information on over
1,100+ national, international and demonstrational model self-help
support groups, ideas for starting groups, and opportunities
to link with others to develop needed new national or international
groups.
