Vancouver
Adult ADD Support Group
Notice
This Group is suspended until we get a new home and volunteers. So if you want it to continue, please help in finding one.
I've
been leading this group for the past 3 and a half years. I've
really enjoyed the meetings and the people but it's been a
lot of work.
While I've gotten help on our advocacy projects and some help
during the actual meetings, I've been doing most of the work.
So for the group to go on, I'd need some people to help carry
the load by doing some of the work. ie running some of the
meetings, getting speakers getting the word out, etc. Let
me know if you're willing to help. Or find a new place in central Vancouver (i.e. not UBC, not boundary and broadway) near a bus stop with parking, not too expensive, and that will fit 30 people for 2 hours one evening a month.
CHADD Vancouver ADD support group meetings are happening here.
thanks
Pete

3-6% of the adult population has ADD.
Approximately 80% of adults with ADD of them are undiagnosed.
Untreated ADD can lead to major negative consequences in life.
This group is specifically oriented to deal with adult ADD
issues and concerns.
It is a peer support group and a forum where information about

one topic relating to ADD in adults and peer support.
